About Alexandra Vino

For Alexandra Vino, accepting one’s Higher Self is essential for spiritual growth. In her travels to Italy, she has met with Shivananda Swamiji, a spiritual guide who helps people find purpose and inner peace. In addition, she frequently takes the time to meditate and practice gratitude. Alexandra is a registered yoga teacher and yoga master. Her spiritual journey is fulfilling and ongoing, as she, like all humans, is a work-in-progress. The teachings of Shivananda blend seamlessly with her own. As an artist with a life purpose geared toward service, it comes naturally to Alexandra to be there for others and to love unconditionally.

A native New Yorker, Alexandra now spends her time commuting between Los Angeles and The Big Apple. Although she was already an established commercial actress by the time she was sixteen, Alexandra’s cinematic career took off when she was cast in Badmaa$h Company, a Bollywood crime-centric comedy by Director Parmeet Sethi. Since then, Alexandra has over 30 credits to her name. She is a lifetime member of both the New York and Los Angeles branches of The Actors Studio and The Upright Citizens Brigade.

Over the years, Alexandra Vino has had the opportunity to act with some of the most iconic names in the business. She was mentored by the late producer Marty Bregman. Her former coaches include Ellen Burstyn, Martin Landau, and Elizabeth Kemp. She co-starred with Mark Wahlberg in Spenser Confidential, playing a victim of organized crime. In Paul, the Apostle of Christ, Alexandra starred as Octavia, a 1st century immigrant from the Roman Empire. She was cast alongside Joanne Whalley, Jim Caviezel, and Olivier Martinez. Alexandra Vino has also been in the film “Shame” which Steve McQueen directed, and “Burying the Ex,” directed by Joe Dane.

In addition to her cinematic achievements, Alexandra Vino has appeared in shows like HBO’s How To Make It in America, CBS’s Golden Boy, and Marvel’s Agent Carter. In addition to being an outstanding actress, Alexandra is a talented writer and director who has worked behind the lens on several short films, commercials, and music videos. Many of her charcoal works and art pieces have been auctioned off for charitable organizations, such as Stop Poaching Now (SPN).
